“An apple a day, keeps the Dr at bay”
As this old saying reports, Naturopathic Medicine uses lifestyle and food as medicine for wellbeing and overall healing. It accepts that our symptoms may have a ‘root’ and ‘driver’ or cause to them, rather than a “pill for an ill” approach. At Kitchen Buddy, we place plants at centre stage to help support health and well-being.
Naturopathic Medicine seeks to harmonise the systems throughout our body, to provide a long lasting positive effect, rather than to promote a quick fix.
Naturopathy (study of Nature- cure medicine) offers a holistic approach, based on functional medicine research and a background in traditional ancient wisdom; Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and traditional Afro-Caribbean remedies.

What is health? Our health is not simply the absence of an illness or dis-ease but feeling well in all areas of our daily lives with our workstudy and occupations, down to our relationships with ourselves and others and the world as a whole. It considers our emotions as well as our physiology.
I work in a Naturopathic form, which envisages that a number of symptoms almost as ‘clues’ that lead to discoveries. It’s this method which has proved to be so successful and rewarding as a method of discovering the ’causes’ or ‘drivers’ for the ‘dis-ease’ within a patient underin my clinical caresupervision.
It proves itself to be adept as a means to learn more about the human body & mind (and spirit).
We can learn so much from a simple Questionnaire \ To create a harmony, strive at creating a balance
This is a continual process, as during the initial consult only a certain amount of information is gained and this process continues over time, whilst a patient continues to make steady, gradual, progress.
